Terms of Service
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs CrossBatch ("you"), and DrMaker3D LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("we", "us"). By installing or using CrossBatch you accept them. If you use CrossBatch for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
1. The service
CrossBatch is a production-queue app for made-to-order shops. It reads orders from your Shopify store and the Etsy orders you upload (or, where available, connect), and turns them into production jobs, batches, job sheets, proofs and status emails. Features depend on your plan (Section 4).
2. Eligibility and access
You need an active Shopify store to install CrossBatch. You're responsible for everyone who uses CrossBatch through your store's admin, and for keeping your Shopify and Etsy accounts secure.
3. Your responsibilities
- You'll use CrossBatch lawfully, including privacy, consumer and marketing laws that apply to you and your customers.
- You're responsible for the content you put into CrossBatch: product rules, notes, email templates, proof files and storefront options. You confirm you have the rights to it.
- You'll tell your customers how you use their information, in your own privacy notice, including that you use service providers like CrossBatch.
- You won't use CrossBatch to send spam, to process data you have no right to process, to interfere with the service, or to reverse engineer it.
4. Plans, trials and billing
- Plans and prices are shown in the Shopify App Store and billed by Shopify through Shopify's app billing, on your Shopify invoice. Shopify's billing terms apply to those charges.
- Paid plans may include a free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends; uninstalling during the trial ends it.
- You can change plans at any time from CrossBatch's Plan page. You can cancel by uninstalling the app. Charges already made are not refunded, except where Shopify's policies or the law require.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing cycle.
- Plan limits (such as orders per month) are soft limits. Going over never stops orders from reaching CrossBatch; we may ask you to upgrade.
5. Shopify and Etsy
CrossBatch depends on Shopify's platform and API, and on the order files Etsy lets you download. We're not responsible for their outages, changes or decisions, including changes to Etsy's download format. The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. CrossBatch is not affiliated with, endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc.
6. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy (https://crossbatch.drmaker3d.com/privacy) explains what we collect and why. For personal data about your customers, you are the controller and we are your processor, and our Data Processing Addendum (https://crossbatch.drmaker3d.com/dpa) forms part of these terms. You own your data. We use it only to provide CrossBatch to you.
7. Our intellectual property
We own CrossBatch and everything we provide with it. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your business while you're subscribed. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep CrossBatch available and your data safe, and we back it up daily, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may change or remove features. If we remove a feature that's central to your paid plan, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.
9. Disclaimers
Except as these terms say otherwise, CrossBatch is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Promised dates and estimates in CrossBatch are planning aids, not guarantees to your customers.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for all claims relating to CrossBatch is limited to the amount you paid for CrossBatch in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don't apply to a party's fraud or willful misconduct, or where the law doesn't allow them.
11. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of CrossBatch in breach of these terms, or your breach of law. We'll defend and indemnify you against third-party claims that CrossBatch, as we provide it, infringes their intellectual property.
12. Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling CrossBatch. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms and don't fix it within 10 days of notice, or immediately if needed to protect the service or others. After uninstall, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use CrossBatch after the change takes effect means you accept it.
14. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the state and federal courts located in Connecticut. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor of the business. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the DPA are the whole agreement about CrossBatch.
