Katana's pricing
Katana's Shopify listing shows Free ($0, up to 30 SKUs) and Core ("Starting at $299/month," priced by locations and sales orders, with paid add-ons). Katana's own pricing page shows Free and Advantage (custom pricing, with implementation and success managers).
How each handles Etsy
- Katana: not built in. Its Etsy page describes a connection through Make (orders in, Etsy marked shipped when the Katana order is delivered). Its help center describes a route through Extensiv that sends fulfillment and tracking to Etsy and syncs stock; partial fulfillment and returns aren't supported.
- CrossBatch: forwarded Etsy sale emails or Etsy's Order Items CSV. No Etsy API connection, so you add tracking in Etsy yourself.
Where Katana is the better fit
- You need a manufacturing system: inventory, manufacturing orders, routings, multiple locations, an API.
- Etsy fulfillment write-back through Make or Extensiv.
- Large catalogs and teams, with hands-on onboarding on Advantage.
Where CrossBatch is the better fit
- Small personalized-order shops: buyer personalization on every job sheet, proof approval and storefront personalization fields. Katana's pages don't mention buyer personalization.
- No third-party connector: Etsy orders come in by email forwarding or CSV.
- Simple pricing: a free plan with no SKU cap, then $19 to $99 a month.
